Please reach us at djpromovers@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No, we do not require a deposit. However, we are a small company so if you need to cancel or move the date, please let us know ASAP so we can fill the voided time slot.
Rogue movers are out there. The best way to make sure you're dealing with reliable professionals is to verify they have the proper permits and insurances required by the State of California. Use this link to check the county you live in to make sure their permit is active and valid: https://apps.cpuc.ca.gov/apex/f?p=203:35:0::NO:RP
We ask that you please do not pack or have us move items like cash, gold, firearms, your priceless stamp collection, jewelry, and so on. If you have something that is valuable and very delicate, either try to move it yourself or inform us first so we can properly package and keep it safe.
It depends. If the dresser doesn't have to go up or down a flight of stairs and is structurally sound to hold the weight, you could probably leave it full. It will be up to our discretion the day of the move. Just make sure nothing fragile is inside.
Legally we cannot move items that contain gas, propane, oil, lighter fluid, paint, any pressurized tanks, or any items that are hazardous or flammable. Liquids are another item we might refuse to transport like water jugs or garden hoses that have water in them. Any appliances need to be thawed, drained, and dry before transport.
Gratuity is not assumed for completing a job well done. However, if you feel like you'd like to, any amount you see fit is ok with us!
